! There are simply just too many permutations for handling week numbers correctly, and even the most appropriate - ISO 8601 - will look broken if weekdays start on a Sunday, which they will for a large amount of the audience. In light of that, and how crowded the UI is, we've decided to streamline the UI to not use week numbers anywhere and to state 'Week beginning January 27, 2014' or whatever.

! Allow for index.php?action=calendar;event=1 or similar to go to the right page of the calendar and highlight the calendar item in question (currently in bold) to indicate what's going on. This will be used by the alerts system.

! Don't do the allow_calendar_event tests if the calendar isn't enabled, and if you can't post, don't bother to do the extended checks. Also, the menu executes *after* principle execution so putting the allow_calendar_event code primarily in the menu code is no good for the calendar - but if we did it in the calendar, let's not redo it for the menu.
